The Office Administrator is responsible for supporting the office and building needs for the Company. This position is in Watford City, North Dakota, with a hybrid work schedule that includes an option for remote work on Mondays and Fridays. Level and salary commensurate with experience.

Essential Job Functions

  • Assist with coordinating maintenance repairs for all office equipment (i.e. postage meter, copiers, fax, furniture, etc.)
  • Order and maintain inventory of stationary supplies, business cards, etc.
  • Order and maintain general office supplies, copier paper and toner for company
  • Submit monthly meter readings for copiers
  • Order and maintain inventory of all coffee/kitchen supplies
  • Serve as liaison for vendors, tenant services, etc.
  • Maintain vendor relationships to include all contact lists
  • Coordinate office moves with IT
  • Assist with meeting room set up when necessary (Board/Executive meetings)
  • Reception and Mailroom duties
  • Assist with coordinating general repairs for the building such as light plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Additional projects as needed or as assigned by manager
  • Assist with managing access control to buildings
  • Serve as culture champion for area
  • Assist with coordination of office events/parties
  • Routinely travel to other Chord Energy offices in ND (Mandaree and Killdeer)

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 years experience working with general office equipment such as copiers, postage meters and shredders
  • Live within 50 mile commuting radius of Watford City, ND
  • Must possess a current and valid driver's license
  • Have proven customer service, focus and a reputation for delivering on commitments
  • Self-directed with a strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good interpersonal and negotiation skills in the day-to-day dealings with vendors and internal clients
  • Attention to detail coupled with excellent organization skills
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize on a daily basis
  • Working knowledge and experience using Excel and Word
  • Physical Requirements
    • Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry files weighing up to 10 pounds; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates degree or Bachelor's degree
  • Previous experience in an office services role or maintenance role
  • Previous oil and gas experience
