We have an exciting opportunity for aPlumbing Engineer located in Milwaukee, WI .

How you will contribute:

As a Plumbing Engineer, you will prepare detailed designs for plumbing, medical gas, and compressed air systems. You will perform code analysis, system calculations, material sizing, and equipment selection. You will also provide information to our estimating team relative to bid packages and provide engineering input into the operation plans for system commissioning and start-up. You will play a lead role in customer interactions and site visits to understand building usage and internal processes, enabling you to create systems which meet the needs of each facility. On projects you design, you will create all documents for submission & permitting as well as interact with field teams to ensure your designs are installed and commissioned successfully. Exercise your ability to multi-task as you manage a workload of multiple simultaneous projects and provide assistance to Ahern's regional offices.

What you need to qualify:

Candidates are preferred to have a license as either a Master Plumber or a Designer of Engineering Systems, combined with3+ years of plumbing engineering experience in a fast-paced work environment. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Microsoft Office tools, and PDF editing software is a must. Candidates should have a strong understanding of the mechanical codes and industry standards.
