Job Description




As a Security Officer - Building Entry Patrol in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will engage with tenants and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report any issues or irregularities to the appropriate parties.
  • Assist with access control by observing entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or granting access as required.
  • Support emergency response activities by communicating with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as needed.
  • Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
