As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to students, faculty, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist students, staff, and visitors with directions and general inquiries within the educational environment.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site contacts to maintain a welcoming and secure atmosphere.
• Document security-related incidents and daily activities according to company and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
