A Taste of What You'll Do

We're looking for a dynamic Brand Marketing Leader who thrives on turning insights into action and delivering exceptional consumer experiences. In this role, you will independently craft and execute strong brand plans, shaping strategies that differentiate our brands, drive consumer choice, and build lasting advocacy. You will lead the Brand Strategic Planning process, manage brand architecture, and coach your team to align brand objectives with consumer needs.

You'll own the end-to-end development process, ensuring agile execution of marketing initiatives, optimizing P&L performance, and identifying opportunities-from SKU mix to channel focus-that strengthen profitability and brand health. Your expertise will guide compelling activation strategies, innovative marketing approaches, and cross-channel tactics that are consistent with brand strategy and resonate in real-world markets.

This position calls for a masterful ability to leverage consumer empathy, market trends, and qualitative insights to create meaningful, repeatable sales activity and measurable ROI. You'll partner with cross-functional teams, agencies, and key stakeholders to ensure every touchpoint-from product launches to channel playbooks-drives impact. Your work will balance creativity with data-driven decision-making, making thoughtful trade-offs across the marketing mix to optimize brand performance today while building equity for the future.

What You'll Need

  • Master's degree plus 5 years of marketing, agency, brand ambassador, tasting room, bartender/mixology, restaurant management or spirits sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 7 years of marketing, agency, brand ambassador, tasting room, bartender/mixology, restaurant management or spirits sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of Gallo Spirits BU experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 9 years of marketing, agency, brand ambassador, tasting room, bartender/mixology, restaurant management or spirits sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Required to travel up to 25% of the time in-market in order to perform job duties.
  • Experience managing total P&L for brand.
  • Knowledge of the on-premise channel.
  • Experience managing A&P budgets with a diverse marketing mix.
  • Demonstrated ability to think analytically.
  • Experience managing a broad range of stakeholders & multiple external agencies.
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and operate with a sense of urgency.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
