Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider of a broad range of Technology and Business consulting services. We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team. Job Title: Logistics I. Location: Malvern, PA. Main Duties:
  • Perform receipts of API and supplies in accordance with CMTI SOP's and client specific instructions.
  • Utilize Oracle system to generate CMTI receipt documentation.
  • Effectively utilize site Schedule Tool to enter receipt, sampling and shipment information for use sitewide.
  • Responsible for sampling all products as required by CMTI's written procedures.
  • Display proficiency programming and operating TruScan RM sampling tool.
  • Communicate daily with Tech Services and QA to ensure all receipt and shipment priorities are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Complete IATA/DOT certification to legally ship hazardous materials both internationally and domestically.
  • Become proficient with Fed Ex and DGIS shipping systems.
  • Schedule CMTI preferred couriers for pickup of daily shipments.
  • Develop understanding specific courier requirements regarding IATA and DOT regulations.
  • Communicate with customs brokers and other logistics teams to efficiently facilitate accurate and timely shipments.
  • Become familiar with Credo Cubes and other temperature monitoring supplies for proper handling of temperature sensitive materials.
  • Communicate with clients as necessary regarding receipt and shipment questions/concerns. Send shipment notifications to clients when shipments are scheduled to leave CMTI.
  • Participate in client audits and visits when requested.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of all items required by CMTI's written inventory procedure.
  • Become proficient with the Oracle operating system regarding receipts, shipments, inventory, and troubleshooting of basic issues.
  • Assist in the development of procedures for cGMP / Safety compliance of warehouse space.
  • Understand gowning procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Maintain warehouse and storage area organization/cleanliness including location accuracy and markings.
  • Safely load and offload couriers utilizing a pallet jack, fork truck or manually as necessary.
  • Deliver and correctly store incoming shipments (API, controlled supplies, office supplies, etc.) through monitoring PO's, Sales Orders, and/or delivery instructions.
  • Perform transfer activities including in/out requests from Operations as well as warehouse movement activities of API and supplies when necessary.
  • Support material handler(s) with timely delivery of ID samples/documentation to respective departments in support of micronization activities.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy through accurate movement form documentation/data entry and assist with cycle counts when necessary.
  • Facilitate the removal of empty used drums, and unusable skids.
  • Help maintain the satellite waste areas in warehouse and outside storage facilities. Assist in the disposal of such materials with CMTI contractors.
  • Responsible for maintenance of forklift, including daily checklist.
  • Responsible for cleaning log accuracy and completeness.
  • Responsible for the completion of daily logs specific to the warehouse.
  • Maintain a working relationship with the various departments inside CMTI.
  • Work autonomously or with minimum supervision on daily assigned tasks.
  • Display proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Education or Equivalent:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
Experience:
  • Prior warehouse experience. Prior management/leadership responsibilities strongly preferred. Experience working some off-shift hours.
