CVMC has a wonderful opportunity to join our evening staff as a level I or II Medical Lab Scientist. The wage disclosed is at the I level.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Performs, calculates, reviews and reports laboratory diagnostic tests. Performs phlebotomy as needed. Maintains and troubleshoots laboratory equipment. Understands the clinical significance of the testing performed. Responsibilities for correction of procedural / instrument issues. Responsible for teaching, training and mentoring.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in biological science or chemistry. Medical Laboratory Scientist certified or certified in the field. If certificate qualified, certification to occur within 1 year of hire.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum experience - MLS internship completed.

SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS:

Evening: $2.25

Weekend: $2.55

RELOCATION:

Relocation package is available to qualified applicants. Additional terms and conditions apply.

SIGN ON BONUS:

Sign on bonus of $5,000 is offered to eligible candidates. Certain terms and conditions apply.
