Job Description

Shift: Afternoon
Pay Rate: $21.00



* The Assistant Bubble Bag Operator assists the Operator in the safe operation of plastic manufacturing equipment to produce quality product by continual adjustments of gauges and digital control systems that adjust speed, temperature, and air pressure while also focusing on safety and efficiency.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Knows and adheres to all safety rules and procedures.
* Follow direction of the Operator once production schedule is obtained.
* Gather and measure raw materials and parts required to specification.
* Prepare station for production process.
* Assist in the operations of manufacturing of quality products.
* Help Operator complete al required reports.
* Comply with Company standards with regard to housekeeping and 6S on machines and surrounding areas.
* Ability to help troubleshoot when problems arise.
* Perform duties of other team members as required during breaks and absences.
* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.


Requirements:
* Minimum 1 year of factory-related experience.
* Strong mechanical aptitude.
* Awareness towards safety.
* Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team and independently.
* Able to work overtime and on weekends.



Other Requirements:
* Operate cranes, forklift, and other related equipment.



Physical Requirements:
* Frequent standing, walking, and bending.
* Pushing, pulling, lifting weights over 30lbs.
* Eye/hand coordination.
* Must be able to routinely work in a "hot room" (up to 110 degrees F at times).
