opportunity, as a Customer Service Operations Specialist

within the utilities industry

to jour client, Remote CST/EST Only, to report from their office location in New Jersey.

  • Max Hourly Rate $18/hr.
  • 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday 8:30AM EST-430PM EST
  • 2+ year CS exp, SAP exp highly preferred

Manage new service inquiries from Customer Service via notifications, emails, or exception cases. Research and analyze requests to determine water/wastewater service availability. Communicate with internal and external partners on service status. Investigate and resolve Business Process Exception cases related to meter readings or master data errors to prevent billing delays.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Manage new service inquiries from Customer Service via notifications, emails, or exception cases.
  • Research and analyze customer notifications regarding water/wastewater service availability.
  • Communicate with internal/external partners via phone and email.
  • Analyze and resolve Business Process Exception cases (e.g., meter reading or master data errors).


Who You Are
  • HS Diploma/GED required, degree preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service experience (2+ years).
  • Root cause analysis and math skills for account research.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.
