Leidos is seeking a full-time Portfolio Program Ally Manager for the Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency Program. This is a strategically important position that will have a large impact on an already successful organization that provides energy program design, implementation, and consulting.

This position will provide all aspects of ally/contractor management, including energy savings, recruitment, education, compliance, and program participation. The position will drive all aspects of management and support for efforts focused on a skilled trade network of Program Allies serving both Ameren's residential and business customers. The Portfolio Program Ally Manager is responsible for managing the program ally network both strategically and tactically, providing ad hoc analyses to evaluate ally performance, creating motivation for program participation, and providing recommended solutions to improve the ally experience.

Location: Ameren Illinois and Leidos believe it is very important to provide employment opportunity to the utility ratepayers that reside in Illinois. Therefore, there is Strong preference for the successful candidate to be located in the Ameren Illinois service territory https://www.ameren.com/illinois/company/about-ameren/service-territory (roughly the southern two-thirds of Illinois).

Travel: Local travel up to 50% of the time, requiring occasional overnight stays

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Business and Residential Program Ally management employees, establishing performance goals and execution strategies.
  • Work closely with the Residential and Business Energy Efficiency Program implementation team to develop the optimal Program Ally Network in support of program needs and goals.
  • Lead all efforts to manage the Prospective and Participating Program Ally Network of contractors across Ameren IL territory who provide services in a variety of efficiency measures in HVAC, Insulation, Plumbers, Electrical trades.
  • Is personally engaged with Ally recruitment for high need areas and high-profile Program Ally candidates.
  • Collaborate with marketing resources to develop effective messaging to existing and potential Program Ally candidates.
  • Facilitate discovery of external training options and continuing education for Program Allies and their employees.
  • Serve as the main operational point of contact for Program Ally onboarding, enrollment processing, certification status, and data updates in Amplify-including W-9 and insurance collection, ICC verification, and coordination with marketing and operational teams for kickoff activities.
  • Respond to ongoing inquiries from Program Allies, provide up-to-date program resources and incentive details, and support contractors with performance data, bonus breakdowns, and issue resolution.
  • Oversee accurate Program Ally records and certification statuses in program database, lead annual ICC recertification updates, and generate internal and external reports that support strategic ally planning and recognition efforts (e.g., Program Ally of the Year, active vs. inactive status).
  • Deliver frequent reporting on established goals and KPIs
  • Reports directly to the Deputy Program Director

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience implementing energy efficiency programs or 5+ years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with contractor service delivery and/or energy efficiency program delivery.
  • Superior communication, collaboration, and task management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team and as an individual.
  • Proven ability in process streamlining, content management, and document control.
  • Project or program management experience is desired.
  • Coordination of Program Ally data reporting as requested.
  • The ability and flexibility to adjust to changing schedules driven by operational requirements.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% (may include occasional overnight travel).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
