McWane corporate is seeking an Information Technology Network Manager. This is a highly technical managerial role, this position leads the Networking group, overseeing the infrastructure operations of corporate information technologies for McWane. The role requires a profound understanding of both modern and legacy technical systems, coupled with a highly developed sense of emotional intelligence. This person works in lockstep with Open Systems, security, and ERP teams, fostering a collaborative approach to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance across all facets of IT (Information Technology) infrastructure. This is a hands on role and the ability to adapt is critical to this position. Essential Functions:
- Leads a small, highly functional team of engineers and administrators across diverse system architectures, collaborating within Corporate IT and Division IT to ensure compliance with overall budgets, policies and objectives. Strategically manages the Network Team of the Infrastructure Group to guarantee not only high levels of customer satisfaction but also adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and performance standards. Focuses on continuous improvement, enhancing goals and objectives in alignment with effective operations and cost factors. This leadership role encompasses overseeing the coordination of efforts to achieve optimal system performance, while also fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and excellence in IT operations.
- Develops/maintains relevant departmental policies, procedures, and objectives to assure compliance with all necessary rules, regulations, and standards pertaining to system operations, and ensuring information and data integrity of the organization.
- Understands and promotes Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning and creates testing processes
- Responsible for localized strategic planning and adherence to the overall IT strategic plan
- Works with team members in areas such as overseeing installations; ensuring systems operate effectively, technical support, hardware and software support and upgrades, systems administration, software integration, purchasing hardware and software, providing IT technology infrastructure.
- Fosters and maintains vendor relationships by understanding contracts, Enterprise Aggreements and ensures adhearnce to their terms and conditions.
- Maintains a culture of continuous improvement by managing long and short-term projects using approved tools.
- Works within budget constraints.
- Must have strong written, oral, communication and facilitation skills. Documents as a Standard.
- Works closely with others to promote cyber security initiatives.
- Observes and enforces all company, human resources and safety policies, procedures, and rules.
- Keeps the Director, IT Infrastructure, and other key managers abreast of significant issues or developments as appropriate.

Qualifications
Minimum Education Required:Bachelor's degree in a technical IT degree plus related experience (infrastructure, network engineering, network administration, programming, network architecture, etc.) is required; OR an equivalent combination of related education and/or experience is required. Minimum Experience Required:10 years of experience in IT with Team Lead or Manager experience Minimum Experience Preferred:10 Years of experience in Enterprise Level IT with Team Lead or Manager experience Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required for the position:
- Computer expert
- Proficient with computer tools, online reporting software and computer programs (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, government regulations and company policies and procedure manuals
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people and encourage and motivate people to take ownership and pride of their work
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid, unbiased conclusions
- Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions furnished in written, oral, mathematical, diagram or schedule form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, lean, global environment supporting multiple industries.
