Plater Technician

Are you detail-oriented and ready to thrive in a hands-on manufacturing environment? Staffmark is seeking a Plater Technician to join a growing team in Alexandria, MN. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, follows instructions precisely, and wants to grow their career in a clean, safety-focused environment.

Pay: $17.50/hr. + 15% shift differential = $20.13/hr.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 3:15 PM - 1:15 AM

What You'll Do:

• Support line operators with plating operations and post-plating processes
• Properly rinse and dry products after plating to ensure quality
• Inspect and package finished parts following company procedures
• Learn and apply racking techniques to maximize efficiency and part quality
• Maintain job segregation and part integrity throughout the process
• Keep work areas clean and hazard-free, following all safety procedures
• Use PPE and safety devices appropriately

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or plating environment is a plus
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures
• Mentally alert and physically capable of lifting and performing repetitive tasks
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
