LEAD PATIENT CARE TECH Job Ref: 33571 Category: CNA & Nursing Assistant Location: 133 Old Road to Nine Acre Corner, Concord, MA 01742 Department: Wheeler 4 - Pedi Schedule: Full Time Shift: Day/Eve shift Hours: 7a-7:30p Pay Range: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour Reporting to the Nurse Manager, Medical Surgical Nursing Unit, the Lead Patient Care Technician (PCT) plays a vital role in ensuring high quality patient care within the acute care setting. This position provides direct patient care and serves as a resource for PCT's and nursing staff. The lead PCT supports a unit with medically complex patients, including those requiring telemetry monitoring, EKG's, Falls precautions and Pressure Injury prevention. This individual will also take a leadership role in optimizing workflows, ensuring best practices in patient care, be an active member of the UBC and fostering teamwork across the unit. All Lead PCT responsibilities are performed under the supervision of the MS Registered Nurse. Minimum Qualifications Education High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience 3 years of acute care hospital experience preferred. Licensure and/or Certification BLS healthcare provider required. Skills Ability to take vitals. Communication skills. Interpersonal skills. Computer skills. Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Ability to maintain confidential information.
