About the Role
As an Operator, you'll prepare, load, inspect, and run parts on 1-4 production machines with moderate supervision. You'll work from written instructions and collaborate with supervisors and leads to maintain quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machines; perform minor maintenance
- Inspect parts, record metrics, and maintain accurate documentation
- Use handheld measuring instruments and support less experienced operators
- Maintain safety, quality standards, and a clean work area
- Cross-train on advanced measurement tools (CMM)
- Comply with ISO and ITAR regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of machining experience or a Machine Technology certificate
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
- Basic math skills (including fractions and decimals)
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs
- Eligible to work in an ITAR environment
Work Environment
- Exposure to moving parts, chemicals, and loud noise
- Requires use of clean-room apparel and safety gear
