The role - what you'll do Barr is seeking an archaeologist to join our growing cultural resources management practice. This hybrid role can be based at Barr offices in the Four Corners or Intermountain West regions of the United States. Responsibilities include fieldwork, reporting, and task management across a variety of projects. Our program offers a full range of services, including cultural surveys, testing, data recovery, construction monitoring, built environment documentation, cultural report preparation, and internal review to support project compliance with local, state, and federal antiquities laws. A successful candidate in this role is passionate about fieldwork while also eager to expand their skills in areas like report writing and project support. They are intrinsically motivated, client-focused, and able to balance competing priorities while working independently and collaboratively. Your impact - key responsibilities

Compensation: Anticipated range of $58,000-$73,000 annually. Compensation will vary based on relevant experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors. Employees in this position may also be eligible for a discretionary cash bonus based on team and individual performance.
