  • Compensation: $36.50/Hr.
  • Referral Rewards: $1,000
  • Teamsters Union opportunity
  • Paid weekly via direct deposit
  • Schedule: Sunday to Thursday. 6:45am start time.
  • Typically, you can expect a stable 50-hour work week.
  • Supporting our partners and communities in San Diego, Palm Springs, Sylmar, Los Angeles, Pixley, and everywhere in between.
  • Our fleet includes: CDL A Tanker truck, CDL A Dry Van truck, and CDL B box truck.
  • Ideally, you bring experience with (or an interest in advancing your skills across) all three vehicle types to support our shared goals. Approximately 8-14 customer connections per day.

If you're looking for dry ice, you'll find it with Airgas. As a pioneering contributor to the dry ice supply, Airgas has established a series of production plants across the nation to develop a secure source supply. Distribution Branches are located in strategic locations throughout the country to provide support to key industries including universities and labs. Quality, reliability, and service are the core contributors that enable Airgas to grow with organizations who depend on dry ice and cold shipping supplies.

  • Support our mission by guiding a CDL A Dry Van and CDL B Box truck to deliver dry ice to our customers' places of business.

  • Ideally, you bring experience with (or an interest in learning) a CDL A tanker truck to pick up and deliver CO2.

  • Collaborate with our team to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment to support the loading and unloading of dry ice.

  • Connect with customers to confirm deliveries, help facilitate that piece counts match the load manifest, and collect empty dry ice boxes to be returned to the plant and/or branch.

  • Provide excellent customer service and share insights from customers with the Branch Manager to help us improve.

  • Perform pre and post trip inspections on trucks according to DOT and company maintenance checklists to advance vehicle safety. Help keep the inside of the truck clean and welcoming.

  • Nurture our shared commitment to all company policies, safety procedures, and DOT and OSHA requirements.

  • Help facilitate that cargo is safely prepared and secured prior to and during transit.

________________________ Are you a MATCH? Required Qualifications:
  • At least 21 yrs old

  • Valid Class A CDL

  • Minimum of 2 yrs of verifiable CDL A experiencein the last 5 years

  • Hazmat and Tanker are REQUIRED. CANDIDATES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED UNLESS THEY CURRENTLY HAVE an X endorsement

  • No automatic restrictions on license. Manual transmission trucks.

  • Maintain appropriate driver's license, medical card & endorsements

  • No more than two (2) traffic convictions: OR two (2) at-fault accident in the last 3 years; or no more than a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last 3 years

  • No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven (7) years

  • Must be able to work in a drug-free environment

  • Be able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with the aid of material handling equipment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Mechanical Aptitude - Turn a wrench, connect hoses, etc..

  • 5 years of Tanker experience
