We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Temporary Senior Hotel Accountant to join our hotel accounting team. This role is critical in maintaining the financial integrity of our hotel portfolio. You will be responsible for leading the month-end closing process to produce timely financial statements for 5 hotels.

Key Responsibilities



  • Month-End Close: Lead the month-end closing process for a portfolio of hotels, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review P&L statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements in accordance with USALI.
  • General Ledger Management: Perform bank reconciliations, monitor intercompany transactions, and manage accruals/prepayments.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate any variances.



Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years of hotel accounting experience,

Industry - Understanding of the Uniform Systems of Accounts for the Lodging Industry

General Ledgers - experience with M3 a plus
