What You Will Do:

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will leverage your extensive expertise in design and project management to lead and execute a diverse range of complex civil engineering projects. These may include natural gas pipelines, electrical distribution and transmission systems, renewable energy infrastructures, dams, water resource management, stream restoration, landfill engineering, and mining facility development.



  • Lead Project Management: Take ownership of project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring that all projects meet client expectations, budget constraints, and regulatory requirements. You will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept through final implementation, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Coordinate Multidisciplinary Teams: Collaborate with and guide both local and remote teams, including engineers, designers, and construction professionals. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage cross-functional teams will be key to achieving project success.
  • Innovate and Optimize Designs: Utilize your deep technical knowledge to drive innovative solutions, optimize design processes, and ensure the practical application of engineering principles across all projects. Your input will be critical in addressing complex challenges and delivering sustainable, cost-effective results.
  • Mentor and Develop Talent: Serve as a mentor to junior engineers and staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster their professional growth. You will play a pivotal role in building a high-performing team by sharing your expertise and encouraging continuous learning and development.
  • Ensure Compliance and Standards: Maintain a thorough understanding of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations. You will be responsible for ensuring that all projects adhere to legal and environmental guidelines, as well as company policies and best practices.



Qualifications:



  • Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or an appropriate technical field
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering
  • Certifications/Professional Licensure-Registrations: Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Key Competencies:

    • Experience managing multi-disciplined teams with excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer skills, and well-organized
    • Experience in client development and proposal writing
    • You can develop and lead a design team possessing a strong work ethic and the ability to work as a TEAM player
