Georgia-Pacific's Corrigan Plywood Mill has an opening for a Rebuild Technician in our Maintenance department. The Rebuild Technician will rebuild our facility's pumps, cylinders, gearboxes, and valves using precision maintenance practices.

Key Responsibilities

* Rebuild facility's pumps, cylinders, gearboxes, and valves using precision maintenance practices

* Perform RCA to identify equipment failures

* Maintain spare parts for the rebuild shop and write reqs for needed items

* Coordinate air compressor maintenance as needed with scheduled outages including contractor assistance

* Train and mentor peers on mechanical installation methods and equipment processes while focusing on safety

* Utilize CMMS system, MP2, and MOE to write work order, complete work orders, and enter daily time

* Properly fill out AFAL documentation

* Perform all scheduled P.M. responsibilities

* Collaborate with department supervisors and planners to identify and escalate any concerns or needs related to rebuilding previously mentioned equipment

Basic Qualifications

* Five years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing capacity as a Millwright, Mechanical Technician, or a Multi-Craft Technicial position

* Ability and experience with rebuilding Hydraulic and Pneumatic Cylinders

* Previous experience working on gearboxes

* Previous experience working on various pumps including air actuated diaphragm, circulation pumps, chopper pumps, etc.

* Must have basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word

* Previous experience with rotary screw air compressors and compressor systems

* Previous experience working with a CMMS system such as MP2, MOE, SAP, Macimo, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience troubleshooting electrical components in relation to compressor systems

* Experience rebuilding pumps

* Experience rebuilding gearboxes

* Experience troubleshooting and repairing rotary screen compressor systems

* Previous training or certifications/qualifications related to pump, compressors, cylinders

* Proficient computer skills
