Cashier - Retail Pharmacy - Full Time Days - Southfield

Join Henry Ford Health Southfield as a full time Cashier and assist within our Retail Pharmacy Department.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Southfield Pharmacy Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Schedule: 8 Hour rotating shifts Monday - Friday & 4 Hour shifts Saturday (9am-1pm)

Receives and disburses money for services.

PRINCPLE DUTIES & RESPONSBILITIES:

• Receives payment by cash, check, credit card and debit card and issues receipts, change, credits or refunds to customers. Operates cash registers and ensures accurate and efficient accounts of all transactions.
• Balances cash receipts and count cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure correct balance.
• In retail setting, assists with the receiving, unpacking, stocking, displaying, pricing, and sales of merchandise.
• Maintains clean and organized checkout area.
