Overview
The Windows Servicing and Delivery (WSD) organization is responsible for keeping Windows customers secure, productive, and up to date by delivering a reliable and seamless servicing experience across current and future versions of Windows. Within WSD, the Windows Autopatch team builds and operates a cloud-based service that automates updates at enterprise scale. We are seeking aSoftware Engineer II - Data Services to join the Windows Autopatch Platformteam and help shape the future of modern IT management. Windows Autopatch is an Azure-based SaaS service trusted by a diverse set of customers, including financial institutions, government agencies, and global enterprises. Devices managed through Autopatch are more secure, compliant, and performant than traditionally managed devices. The Windows Autopatch Platform team plays a critical role by delivering reliable data platforms and actionable insights that power customer reporting and inform Microsoft's commercial servicing strategy. As a Software Engineer II, you will contribute to building and operating a scalable data and reporting platform using big-data technologies. You will work on enterprise-grade, compliant data pipelines and help transform complex servicing telemetry into meaningful insights that enable data-driven decisions. #W+DJOBS Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
