Presbyterian is hiring a skilled Supervisor - Central Supply to be responsible for the day-to-day oversight and supervision of the Central Supply department resources, inventory, and equipment; central inventory; par replenishment; internal distribution, call deliveries, specialty carts, patient charging for supplies and equipment; and supports the optimization of central supply resources to provide the highest-valued, customer-focused logistical services to the departments served.

Responsibilities: This person will:
- Supervise Central Supply staff with an emphasis on talent development, training, teamwork, and job satisfaction; provide input for staff evaluations and development planning; support promotion/demotion, disciplinary counseling, and termination or reassignment activities
- Support organization of staff and resources to execute initiatives and tactics effectively and efficiently, and monitor and report progress; elevate issues and concerns timely
- Supervise all staff scheduling and assignments to ensure all work functions and requirements are completed effectively and at the highest standards
- Supervise activities for inventory receipt and put away, cycle counts, and expiration date monitoring
- Supervise activities for par inventory replenishment; supply , shelving, and unit organization; bin labels; back order and substitute notification and shelving labels; patient charging; and returns
- Supervise activities for monitoring and reporting KPIs, and addressing performance issues
- Support the design and implementation of supply chain inventory management and replenishment models to optimize labor and inventories ; conduct cycle counts and physical inventories as required
- Support optimization of Lawson and available technologies to better perform tasks, and to improve services and outcomes
- Ensure 100% compliance with all Federal and State healthcare regulations, TJC standards, and PHS Policies and Procedures
- Support management of the patient charging system for applicable supplies in order to optimize revenue, streamline processes, and increase nursing/user satisfaction
- Participate in and support Supply Chains emergency/disaster preparedness and response, and support PHS Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) efforts
- Actively support Supply Chain Formulary enforcement; and provide supervision for addressing back-orders, stock-outs, substitutes, trials, conversions, and recalls
- Support proactive evaluation of PHS supplies, services, and equipment usage trends and recommend operational process improvements
- Support education and communications plans for all user-departments and key stakeholders to ensure compliance with Supply Chain Policies and Procedures and to improve customer satisfaction
- Assist in development of annual department operational and capital budgets, and manage Logistics operations to meet/exceed approved budgets
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and trends and recommend operational improvements to Director, Supply Chain Logistics and VP, Supply Chain
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years in supply chain operations
