Nutrition Room Technician

Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is looking for a dedicated Nutrition Room Technician This role is full-time working (40 hrs/week) working Monday-Friday and rotating weekends from 8-4:30

Job Responsibilities:

• The Nutrition Room Technician is responsible for ordering, receiving, handling, storing, preparing and delivering human milk and formula. This includes mom's expressed milk and donor milk.
• Preparation techniques should adhere to all sanitary regulations and standard and will be consistent with the 3d Edition of Infant and Pediatric Feedings: Guidelines for Preparation of Human Milk and Formula in Health Care Facilities.
• This role is also responsible for ensuring the environment meets facility and cleanliness standards, training and onboarding other technicians, and participating in educational opportunities.
• May perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous clinical experience or previous nutrition experience, highly preferred
