This Position reports to:

Warehouse/Internal Logistics Manager
Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to conduct all activities related to the handling and shipping of of parts and semi-finished or final products in the warehouse or to/from the production line, our vendors, and our customers. Each day, you will be responsible for shipping and tracking materials you have shipped out per guidelines. You will also showcase your expertise by performing other routine activities according to established procedures.

The work model for the role is: {onsite}

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Coordinate all shipping activities including constant communication with the project managers, order handling, and production lines
  • Arranging for Parcel Shipments via accounts in a timely manner to ensure the success.
  • Arranging for Less than Truck Loads (LTL) for partial pallet shipments to customers
  • Arranging for Full Truck Loads (FTL) for full expedited shipments to customers
  • Tracking and communicating to relative departments all the movements in regards to the shipment (Planned ship out time, shipping arrival time, shipment departure time, twice daily location updates, planned receiving time, receiving arrival time, and receiving finished time)
  • Obtaining Proof of Shipment and Proof of Delivery
  • Sorting and arranging material for storage as per guidelines.
  • Receiving in parcel shipments
  • Must be flexible in first and second shift working

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
  • Relevant experience in warehousing with 2+ years of logistics and shipping
  • A working knowledge of SAP warehouse management
  • A working knowledge of Logistics fundamentals
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Data analysis and reporting
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the U.S.
