Major/Essential Functions


  • Read source documents, such as checks, credit card reports, and data files, and manually enter data into the Advancement RM database accurately and efficiently to ensure timely processing of all gifts and pledges, biographic updates, and special projects.
  • Maintain data integrity by running integrity checks, correcting errors daily, and keeping gift errors to a low percentage.
  • Utilize online research resources including Banner Student to verify and acquire updated information for constituent records in the Advancement RM database and work with schools, departments, and staff to verify and resolve gift and biographic issues related to departmental needs.
  • Manually input assigned affiliations, committees, awards, and student activities as assigned.
  • Batch, annotate, and reconcile gift transactions to record in the Advancement RM database with database allocations related to respective Banner FOP, source, and/or special handling and initiate corrections to Advancement RM database and/or Banner Accounting System if necessary.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Proficiently operate a 10 key calculator, phone answering skills at a professional level. Knowledge of the Banner Accounting System. General office skills.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in job related field plus one year of related experience; OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal five (5) years.
