About the Unit

The Interventional Radiology Clinic at Corewell Health Blodgett Hospital is a specialty clinicoperatedby Corewell Health and staffed by physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) from Advanced Radiology Services. Our clinic provides care to a wide range of patients requiring Interventional Radiology procedures, from pre-procedure consultations to post-procedure follow-up visits and ongoing care. Corewell Health performs more than 250 different Interventional Radiology procedures, offering a fast-paced and engaging clinical environment.

Scope of work

Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Provider or Registered Nurse (RN) in the examination and treatment of patients to facilitate clinic flow and provide excellent patient care. Performs basic skills per department guidelines and policies; communicate observations to members of the health care team. You will support afast-pacedInterventional Radiology Clinic by rooming patients, preparing them for visits,assistingproviders during clinic appointments, managing In Basket messages, and collaborating closely with registered nurses to ensure efficient clinic workflow. This role offers the opportunity to work in a highly specialized clinical setting alongside experienced providers and nursing staff in a friendly, supportive, andteam- orientedenvironment. Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days
