Job Title: Fleet Management Specialist Duration: Contract 6 Months Work Arrangement: Fully onsite Location: San Jose, CA 95118 Pay Rate: $45.80/hr on W2 Job Description: Scheduling and Operations: Scheduling vehicles within pool for use by multiple agency units for daily operations, meetings, training, and other business trips, planning and organizing the best options for individual use on a day-to-day basis, checking in vehicles after use to verify cleanliness, fuel level, and any damage that may have occurred and was not reported. Data Entry and Reporting: Inputting data into specialized fleet software programs, including Maximo (for work orders and records management) and Fuel Master (for fuel tracking), transferring data from software to Excel via uploading or manual entries to facilitate further analysis and reporting, pulling various reports based on the collected data. Maintenance and Fuel Coordination. Maintenance and Fuel Coordination: Creating work orders for maintenance and repairs, communicating with the Senior Mechanic about vehicles that are down for maintenance or repair, passing along necessary information to the Senior Mechanic regarding accidents or road calls. Knowledge, skills and abilities: Knowledge- of general office equipment, copier, phone, laptop, software programs such as OFFICE, EXCEL, WORD, OUTLOOK, TEAMS, ZOOM, Internet. Skills- create data sheets with EXCEL using information extracted from other software such as Fuel Serve, Maximo, communicate effectively with customers and Unit staff members. Understanding needs and importance of each individual and how their duties contribute to the district. Ability- to use supplied office equipment and software programs and effectively communicate with individuals from various different Units within the district. Ability to prioritize and schedule.
