KPMG is currently seeking an Associate, Tax Shared Services - Trust Tax/Individuals to join our Delivery Center.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist and prepare tax returns, and other miscellaneous tax forms for individuals and trusts
  • Provide support to prepare miscellaneous federal and state income tax calculations related to individuals and trusts
  • Aid with the initial review to ensure that all required information has been provided by the client
  • Help conduct tax research relating to individuals and trusts
  • Work on multiple engagements simultaneously
  • Interact with local office engagement teams
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
  • Minimum one year of recent accounting and/or tax experience; ultra-high net worth individual and/or trust and estate tax experience in an accounting firm and/or law firm is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required
  • Demonstrated quality service mindset, strong technical aptitude, critical thinking skills and ability to navigate MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of individual income tax and/or gift tax, estate tax and trust taxation; multi-generational estate planning experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication and time management skills; flexible and adaptable team player; resourceful in delivering high quality work
