Description

Starkey is hiring for a full time 6-month temp to hire Associate Business Intelligence Data Analyst - Onsite at its global headquarters in Eden Prairie, MN to serve its Start Hearing and Starkey Retail (Audibel) business units. This person will perform data analysis using Power BI, Excel, and Microsoft Fabric tools on top of Microsoft Dynamics365 based data models. They will be responsible for gathering business requirements, creating technical documentation, performing data analytics on large and diverse datasets, and building data products that enable data driven decision making. Pay is $30/hour. In event of conversion from temp to FTE, there will be a full benefits package offered.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Work with business departments to identify and understand data needs and document requirements.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data to ensure accuracy of data products.
  • Work with technical development teams to design and document reporting and analytics solutions within our enterprise data platforms
  • Transform data analyses into concrete and actionable recommendations.
  • Develop a broad understanding of Starkey's customer experience, business-to-business model, products, market, and emerging business priorities and capabilities and utilize data intelligence to support the achievement of business objectives.
  • Build data models, transformations, measures, KPIs, reports, dashboards, using Power BI and SQL.
  • Prepare summaries to ensure that the analysis outcome is packaged in a clear and concise manner that "tells the story" to a wide range of business partners to allow the business to make informed decisions.
  • Assist in developing our multi-source data architecture and analytics processes to ensure a single source of truth across the enterprise.
  • Assist with user data requests and break/fix support.
  • Perform other duties/responsibilities as assigned.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, Statistics, or equivalent work experience.

Experience
o 2 years' experience in financial analysis, data analytics or business intelligence role preferred
o Experience building and maintaining Power BI (or similar tools) datasets and reports is preferred

Knowledge/Technical Requirements
*Understanding Data Analysis techniques and experience analyzing large and complex datasets.
*Understanding Data Visualization best practices.
*Understanding Business Intelligence best practices and data product lifecycles such as CRISP-DM
*Familiarity with a variety of data analytics tools. Prefer experience with Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Excel, MS SQL Server, Etc.
*Familiarity with data analytics languages: SQL, DAX, Python, R
*Understanding of relational databases, data warehousing, data mining
*Strong MS Excel skills and other Microsoft Products

*Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
