Operating Room - Registered Nurse

Position Highlights:

• • Position: Registered Nurse - Operating Room
  • Location: Skokie Hospital
  • Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, Day shift with on-call rotation requirement; (includes on-call weekends)
    
    What you will need:
    License:Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
    Education:BSN degree preferred
    Certification:BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider through the American Heart Association
    Experience:Operating Room experience preferred
    
    What you will do:
  • Provide perioperative nursing care to surgical patient populations and families
  • Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing and evaluating the patient plan of care
  • Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice
  • Assume responsibility, accountability and authority for outcomes of nursing care
  • Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care
