A growing specialty manufacturing organization is seeking a detail-driven Adhesive Mixing Technician to support coating and lamination operations on first shift. This temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for a mechanically inclined technician who thrives in hands-on production environments, follows formulas with precision, and understands the importance of accuracy, safety, and consistency in adhesive and coating processes.

Hours & Pay



  • Pay Rate: $18-$20 per hour
  • Schedule: First shift, Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
  • Employment Type: Temp to hire

Daily Responsibilities



  • Organize and maintain inventory of raw materials and finished coating products
  • Assist with material requests to ensure uninterrupted production
  • Determine timing for mixing Part "A" and Part "B" coatings to meet production needs
  • Follow written formulas and work instructions with strict accuracy
  • Complete batch records documenting all mixing activity
  • Lift, weigh, and measure powders and liquids to produce solvent-based adhesives and coatings
  • Sample completed mixes and deliver to Quality Assurance for testing
  • Maintain the cleanliness of mixers, pumps, dispensers, scales, lines, and mixing areas
  • Support coater operation and equipment cleaning as needed
  • Monitor equipment controls, safety guards, and stops; report issues immediately
  • Notify engineering or supervision of any process or equipment concerns
  • Utilize the MRP system to access instructions and record production data, scrap, and run time
  • Perform required daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and documentation
  • Complete additional duties as assigned


Required Qualifications



  • Minimum age of 18 and ability to pass pre-employment reading and ruler assessments
  • Mechanical aptitude and at least 6 months of experience with lamination, coating, press, or similar machinery
  • Prior experience mixing adhesives, inks, or coatings required
  • Ability to accurately measure to 1/16 of an inch using a ruler or tape measure
  • Strong math skills involving whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 65 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, squat, kneel, and lift throughout the entire shift
  • Ability to tolerate chemicals and occasional strong odors
