Job Description

Diagnoses and resolves problems on Lining and Assembly machines, to include automation and vision quality systems. Perform punch and die changes.
-Follows safety standards while working on Lining and Assembly machines and reports any safety issues immediately to Shift Leader.
-Ensures quality standards are met as established for lined and assembled parts.

Tooling set ups on Lining and Assembly machines.
-Pulls tooling and sets new tooling.
-Performs start-up procedure, including line clearance.
-Responsible for proper storage of dies and related equipment after removal from Lining and Assembly machine.
-Runs materials and product to and from the Lining and Assembly area.

Performs preventative maintenance on Lining and Assembly machines on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
-Notifies Shift Leader of any worn dies or equipment noticed during preventative maintenance.

Maintains proper documentation for all Lining and Assembly materials and machines.
-Daily, weekly, monthly reporting of OEE and scrap information.
-Complete all physically moves and transactions necessary to insure process flow through JDE (ERP system) for all working process transactions (WIP)

Provides support by directing the work of Machine Attendants.
-Communicates and delegates planned and unplanned activities in conjunction with department production monitoring system (Barco).
-Instructs other Machine Attendants in informal and formal training sessions.
-Assigns and relieves Machine Attendants on Lining and Assembly machines as needed.
- Run lining machines as machine attendant when necessary.

Maintains direct involvement with Molding, Quality, and Maintenance.
-Communicates with prior and oncoming shift personnel regarding daily issues encountered.

Supports and maintains all policies of the company including but not limited to ISO/BRC Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement, and standard work procedures.
