As a Security Officer - Patrol Tech/Media Campus in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations within the tech, media, and telecom environment. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the technology, media, and telecom facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious behavior and report findings according to Allied Universal and client site procedures.
• Communicate with site personnel, visitors, and/or employees to provide information and assistance as needed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities as required by the site.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site representatives to address security-related concerns and maintain a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR or first aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
