Job Summary

Castalia is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with a TS/SCI clearance and CI Polygraph to support a government customer in the St. Louis, Missouri area.

Roles and Responsibilities

A qualified candidate will perform the following duties and responsibilities, but are not limited to:



  • Interact with analysts; routinely take and translate analytical requirements and transform them into data formats to allow for use and the application of new emerging analytical methodologies
  • Interpret rich data sources, manage large amounts of data, merge data sources together, ensure consistency of data-sets, support the creation of visualizations to understand data, build mathematical models using the data, present and communicate the data insights/findings to specialists and scientists in their team and if required to a non-expert audience
  • Design, develop, program, and test applications and exchange data within and amongst information systems


Required Qualifications:



  • Current TS clearance with access to SCI?
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • At least 4 years of full-time experience creating and applying algorithms and statistical methods to data, visualizing data, and developing database architecture?
  • Demonstrated experience developing data visualizations with tools such as Tableau, Power Bl, Grafana, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience with data collection, conditioning, and wrangling
  • Demonstrated experience with SharePoint content management, lists, and forms
  • Demonstrated experience developing complex Nintex workflows
  • Demonstrated understanding of data analytics and statistics


Desired Qualifications:



  • Knowledge and experience with database creation and management
  • Demonstrated experiences with coding languages, specifically Python, SQL, HTML, CSS, Java, R and JavaScript
  • Effective oral and written communications skills


Physical Requirements/Work Environment



  • Normal office environment.

Less than 5%.
