ABOUT THE ROLE

The BIM Design Modeler will collaborate closely with clients, internal engineering, design, and manufacturing team members and partners in the built community to create high-quality, sustainable, and scalable products that meet client needs and market demands. The ideal candidate would bring a blend of architectural design skills, product development experience, and knowledge of a variety of construction techniques.

WHAT YOU'LL DO



  • Implement BIM processes and methodologies on assigned projects while developing and maintaining BIM execution plans aligned with industry standards and project requirements
  • Create, manage, and maintain detailed 3D BIM models representing physical and functional aspects of construction projects
  • Perform clash detection and coordinate model reviews to identify and resolve design conflicts early, reducing errors and rework
  • Facilitate collaboration and communication between architects, engineers, contractors, and owners through BIM and digital platforms
  • Support Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) processes to improve project planning, scheduling, cost estimation, and sequencing
  • Develop and refine construction simulations to optimize coordination and project execution strategies
  • Provide training and ongoing support to project teams on BIM/VDC tools, standards, and best practices
  • Stay current on BIM/VDC technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing process improvements
  • Ensure accurate model management, data integrity, and compliance with project and company standards


WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The ideal BIM Administrator is a technically skilled and detail-oriented professional with strong experience in Revit-based modeling and BIM/VDC workflows within construction or precast environments. They are proactive problem solvers who ensure model accuracy, support clash detection, and help improve coordination across design, engineering, and production teams. This individual is collaborative, adaptable, and driven to improve processes through innovation, automation, and continuous improvement while maintaining strong data integrity and standards compliance.

IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE



  • Associate or bachelor's degree in architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Aided Drafting, or a related field or relevant combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience working in a BIM/VDC project environment.
  • Proficiency in BIM software, architectural design and 3D modeling software, such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Rhino.
  • Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to balance design creativity with technical constraints and cost-efficiency considerations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience working across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Analytical mindset with an unwavering attention to detail.
  • Experience with cloud-based collaboration platforms.
