As a Mortgage Loan Support Lead at First Western, you will play a vital role in helping high-net-worth clients achieve their financial goals. You will work closely with our Mortgage Services team to deliver comprehensive solutions that exceed client expectations.

What You Will Do:



  • Train mortgage-related administrative tasks for assigned MLO/Processor as-needed, including gathering and organizing required loan documentation from borrowers and referral partners.
  • Proactively train borrower income, credit and asset documentation and loan processing requirements for Underwriting Submission.
  • Act as overflow Processor when needs arise.
  • Train to review real estate purchase contracts for specific transaction details including but not limited to transfer taxes/fees, seller credits, relevant contract deadlines and signatures and summarize and communicate details to assigned MLO.
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating mortgage origination and processing procedures, job aids and training materials at the direction of the Senior Vice President of Residential Mortgage Operations.
  • Responsible for training and ongoing assistance for Encompass disclosure procedures and process including review of system generated fees and disclosures to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to release of initial disclosure package to borrower(s).
  • Maintain current knowledge of lending environment, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
  • Practice First Line of Defense to protect First Western Trust, ("the Bank") and its clients from fraud and theft of assets or information which includes utilizing available security measures to protect client and Company Non-Public Information;


What You Bring:



  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional Excel skills
  • Experience working with Encompass LOS
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow-through
  • Strong customer service and relationship-based sales skills
  • Experience working with all types of net-worth individuals
