Milwaukee Tool is seeking a highly analytical, process-driven professional to own and operate our enterprise Financial Planning & Reporting solution. This role sits at the intersection of data, systems, and finance operations and is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and usability of our financial forecast and actuals reporting.

The ideal candidate is a strong critical thinker with an aptitude for systems who thrives in complex environments, enjoys solving ambiguous problems, and builds scalable, well-governed processes.

This role is foundational to how Milwaukee Tool plans, forecasts, and reports financial performance. The person in this position will have broad visibility, significant influence, and the opportunity to shape how enterprise data is structured and used across the organization.

You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

  • Own and operate the enterprise financial planning & reporting solution, including forecast models, reporting structures, allocations, and system governance (CCH Tagetik / Oracle EPM).
  • Assist in preparation of annual operating budget and monthly variance analysis reports.
  • Serve as the primary administrator for the planning system, managing user access and security; dimension hierarchies and reporting structures (FSTs); allocation logic and business rules; and data loads, integrations, and validation routines
  • Lead the monthly forecast and reporting cycle, ensuring data completeness, accuracy, and timely delivery.
  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, and business stakeholders to collect, validate, and reconcile forecast inputs from users and ERP systems; support financial restatements and historical revisions; and respond to ad hoc analysis and "what-if" modeling requests
  • Proactively identify data quality issues, process gaps, and system inefficiencies; design and implement improvements that increase accuracy, speed, and scalability.
  • Develop documentation, controls, and repeatable processes that reduce dependency on tribal knowledge.

The TOOLS you'll bring with you:

  • Bachelor's degree required; degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related fields is beneficial.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
  • Experience in data analyst, systems admin, finance systems, or enterprise planning roles.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience working within a large, complex organization.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to break down complex problems.
  • Able to effectively communicate (written, verbal, presentation, and listening)
  • Demonstrated experience supporting or administering enterprise planning, reporting, or analytics platforms.
  • Experience with CCH Tagetik and/or Oracle EPM is strongly preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; comfort working with large datasets and structured models.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
