TheNon-Kinetic Effects Business Area, part of the Defense Sector at Leidos, currently has an opening for a clearedSenior Model Based Systems Engineerto work in our Beavercreek, OHOffice.This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Air Force Research Lab, Air Force Lifecycle Management Center, and other DoD missions. Your role will be to support our diverse portfolio of programs throughModel Based Systems Engineering.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Capture, decompose, and trace system level requirements.
• Analyze, define, and refine architectures and interfaces.
• Develop system structure and behavior.
• Collaborate withgovernment stakeholders and internal engineering teams.
• Champion MBSE withinour organization.
• Serve as primary POC to our customersfor MBSE
• Stay upto date onstate of theartMBSEpractices and technologies.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degreeinengineering, computerscience, or arelated fieldand8+years of prior relevant experience or aMaster'sdegree with6+years of experience.
• 3+years experiencedeveloping models withSysML
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher
• Must be able toacquirea Top-Secret security clearance.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally from informal one-on-one discussions or in a small group environment.
• Work well within a team and independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work within a dynamic work environment, ability to handle multiple tasks at once (multi-task)
• Strong desireto grow and learnnew technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
• Familiar with Agile Methodologies, preferably SCRUM or Kanban
• Experience with Atlassian tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket
• Experience usingTeamwork Cloud
• Familiarity withSysMLv2
• Experience with model and simulation environments to support simulation and test
• Experience with AFSIM
• Familiarity with DoDMOSA Initiatives
• Experience with Unit Testing and CI/CD
• Understanding of Military CONOPS
• Prior experience working with the DoD
