Job Description




As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrols PT in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a leading tech environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to everyone on site. This position requires a valid driver's license, as you may be responsible for driving during patrols. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related concerns within the tech and media environment.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and patrols as required by site protocols.
  • Remain alert to potential security-related risks in a technology-focused setting and communicate any concerns to supervisors or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
