Part-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm
12 - 28 hours/week

OVERVIEW:

Working as Part-time eCommerce Customer Service, you will monitor the flow of non-branch account orders received through Fastenal.com that cannot be fulfilled by a single distribution center. You will be responsible for delivering a high level of customer satisfaction, service and delivery to our customers. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

o Managing the order fulfillment cycle by sourcing from hubs, branches and vendors

o Communicating expectations to the customer

o Ensuring product is packed and shipped properly

o Answering customer calls, questions and complaints

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

The skills and qualifications required for this position include:

o Possess sales or customer service work experience

o Excellent written and oral communication skills with a variety of audiences

o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite

o Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency

o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities

o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills

o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork

o Pass the required drug screen and background check (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

o Possess or are working towards an Associate's Degree in Business/Marketing OR equivalent industry experience and knowledge of the local market
