| Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit |
The
Department of Management offers three undergraduate majors (face-to-face and online): International Business, Human Resource Manamgenet, and Business Administration with concentrations in Business Studies and Management; an online Master of Science in International Business; an online PhD in Business Administration (with concentrations in International Business, Organizational Behavior, and Strategy); and contributes to delivering the undergraduate business core and the
MBA program. Our faculty members are very active in research and have published in such journals as
Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Learning & Education, Academy of Management Review, Administrative Science Quarterly, Harvard Business Review, Human Relations, Industrial & Organizational Psychology, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies, Leadership Quarterly, Management Science, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, and Strategic Management Journal, to name a few.
The
Bryan School of Business and Economics has 4,765 undergraduate and graduate students and more than 130 full- and part-time faculty members housed in six departments and programs. Accredited in both business and accounting by
AACSB, the Bryan School is the recipient of many rankings, honors, and accolades, and the faculty are active in research. | Position Summary |
The
Department of Management in the Bryan School of Business & Economics at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (
UNCG) invites applications, expressions of interest, and nominations for one full-time position. The position will commence on August 1, 2026, at the rank of
Lecturer (non-tenure-track).
The position will be slated to teach four courses each semester, with responsibilities in a combination of these areas (depending on departmental needs and faculty qualifications): Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, Business Strategy, and/or International Business. The selected candidate must be prepared to teach face-to-face and online courses, as needed by the Department. Teaching online courses is required, and service to the university and to the academic and/or practicing professions is also expected. An interest in and experience with virtual experiential work with students, as well as hands-on student projects, will be a strong plus in our consideration of candidates.
The successful candidate will serve as a bridge between the Bryan School and the business community. We expect this person to be instrumental in securing internships and job placements for our students by collaborating with businesses. Prior experience working with the business community to create career opportunities for students is a major asset for this position.

| Minimum Qualifications |
Minimum qualifications for the Lecturer position consist of:
- Either an MBA or an MS/MA in Management or related business areas from an appropriately accredited school.
- Substantial, high-level professional experience. To be professionally qualified for instruction, an individual will need to have maintained ongoing professional experience over the last five years (consulting, professional certifications, etc).
