Overview and Responsibilities
Job Title: Service Center Supervisor - Transfill Division Summary Are you an experienced leader with a background in warehouse operations and technical repair teams? Join our Transfill Division as a Service Center Supervisor, where you'll oversee daily operations including high-pressure oxygen tank filling, equipment repair, and team management. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, regulated environment and enjoys leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality service. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Transfill Technicians, Drivers, and Repair Technicians
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including equipment filling, inventory control, and workflow efficiency
- Train staff on equipment handling, safety protocols, customer service, and compliance procedures
- Hire, evaluate, and develop team members; conduct annual performance reviews and set goals
- Monitor and manage operational expenses to align with budget targets
- Ensure compliance with all applicable FDA, DOT, OSHA, FMCSA, BOP, and DOH regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation and update operational manuals and procedures
- Coordinate with senior and corporate leadership to align local operations with company goals
- Safeguard company assets and ensure proper maintenance of equipment and vehicles
- Represent the company at local and regional meetings and trade shows
- Take proactive action on inspection reports and regulatory recommendations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Supervisory Scope
- Direct supervision of warehouse staff, including Transfill Techs, Drivers, and Repair Technicians
- Responsible for team scheduling, performance, and operational support
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience managing warehouse operations and technical repair teams
- Strong understanding of medical equipment handling and maintenance
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance in healthcare or logistics environments
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to train, motivate, and develop a high-performing team
Qualifications
Employment Requirements To maintain a safe and compliant workplace, employment is contingent upon:
- Completion of a company-wide background check
- Drug screening, if applicable to the position
- A valid driver's license in your state of residence with a clean driving record (required if driving is part of the role)
Education & Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience in Home Medical Equipment (HME), Home Health, or business operations
Preferred:
- Experience managing Durable Medical Equipment (DME) operations
- Background in medical gases manufacturing and familiarity with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
- At least three years of experience in the Home Health industry
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with HazMat and Air Brake endorsements, or the ability to obtain one

Technical & Equipment Proficiency You'll be expected to:
- Operate and understand durable medical equipment
- Use email and internet for communication and research
- Navigate Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Operate standard office equipment (fax, copier, printer, phone, computer)
- Demonstrate proper procedures for loading, unloading, and securing cargo
- Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on medical equipment
Physical & Environmental Demands This role requires:
- Bending and lifting tanks and equipment up to 50 lbs
- Occasional light lifting for inventory or office supplies
- Close visual work with small print on screens and paperwork
- Sitting, walking, standing, talking, and listening throughout the day
- Working in both office and warehouse environments
- Driving a company vehicle as part of daily operations
- Potential exposure to contagious pathogens during patient and equipment contact
