We are searching for an energetic and detail-oriented individual to join our team to assist in our ongoing program development. Joining similarly dedicated colleagues in the ABA program, this position is responsible for:

- Supporting students through orientations, resources, and events
- Coordinating ABA fieldwork placements, documentation, and exam prep
- Support program operations, curriculum quality, and accreditation
- Working closely with faculty, alumni, and professional organizations

This position requires a full-time on-campus presence.

What you'll do and what you'll bring:

Position Function:

Provide program and operations coordination by advising and collaborating with ABA and Autism Program Directors on strategic planning, program assessment, fieldwork and exam preparation, student mentorship and success, and faculty workload management.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

1. In consultation with the Department of Special Education ABA leadership, evaluate and make recommendations for program improvements to ensure quality control for instructional content and learner experience.

2. Design and maintain databases for training student performance metrics, program completion rates, and alumni outcomes to support accreditation reporting and continuous improvement. Analyze data and provide recommendations to faculty and ABA leadership to enhance curriculum, strengthen student outcomes, and support compliance with accreditation standards. Evaluate data related to continuous improvement initiatives and report on whether the findings support the proposed changes or if further adjustments should be made.

3. Serve as a liaison with BACB to ensure the program remains compliant regarding certification standards and reporting requirements. Research changes with BACB compliance standards and make updates to BSU programs to ensure that students remain eligible to sit for exam.

4. Oversee and assess student progress regarding program enrollment and completion. Provide required attestations in accordance with external BACB procedures for students applying to take the exam via Pathway 2. Monitor student progress toward Capstone completion, identifying students at risk and recommending intervention strategies.

5. Manage fieldwork and exam preparation for the ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) and Autism program. Evaluate field experience, approve supervisor credentials, collect and organize fieldwork documentation (e.g., supervisor CVs, contracts), and use BACB (Behavior Analyst Certification Board) guidelines/procedures to confirm requirements for the exam. Conduct thorough evaluations on course syllabi to confirm alignment with the BACB Test Content Outline (TCO). Distribute Board Certified Analyst (BCBA) exam preparation materials to faculty.

6. Develop and implement outreach strategies to attract high-quality admission applicants. Provide support regarding the undergraduate and graduate admission process by evaluating and reviewing applicant information and determining an admission decision.

7. Coordinate ABA MOUs (Memorandum of Understanding) for tuition discounts by reviewing ABA center applications and making decisions to move forward with external partnerships.

8. Serve as a liaison with other departments (e.g., DOSL - Division of Online and Strategic Learning and OTES - Office of Teacher Education Services) to advise, coordinate, and implement practicum placements.

9. Develop and lead new student orientation sessions that introduce students to program expectations, resources, and professional conduct standards.

10. Manage and maintain the ABA Student Canvas Communities to foster connection, mentorship, and engagement across student cohorts.

11. Create and develop student-facing resources and activities; ABA student/alumni panels, webinars, career events, FAQ documents, and a quarterly student/alumni newsletter. Oversee and maintain social media presence to highlight program accomplishments, promote events, and strengthen community engagement, ensuring alignment with college communication standards. Facilitate the development of student mentorship and peer-support programs.

12. Provide support to the Accreditation and Field-based Experience Coordinator regarding data reporting.

14. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Chair that contribute to the effective management and continuous improvement of the ABA program.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Two 2 years of administrative or leadership experience in higher education or an ABA center

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in ABA, special education, psychology, or related field

  • Certification BCBA or BCBA License eligible in Indiana

  • Experience with undergraduate and graduate programs in ABA/Autism

  • Experience with accreditation
