Must understand and demonstrate safe work practices at all times to ensure a safe work environment.

Familiarity with NEC, NEMA, NFPA, and OSHA code compliance.

Assist production areas with mechanical and electrical equipment trouble-shooting and finding root-cause for reoccurring downtime.

Lead trouble-shooting efforts for equipment PLC programs.

Modify existing PLC programs for increased efficiency and performance.

Maintain project and equipment files including as-built drawings and spare parts documentation.

Integrate new components or systems such as instruments, controls, machines, and mechanical or electrical systems.

Plan the fabrication of panels and equipment for systems improvements.

Coordinate fabrication and installation activities to ensure products and systems conform to manufacturing requirements and GMP.

Research products and systems to interface machines, hardware, and software to solve operational issues and draft purchase requests.

Comply with all Company policies and procedures

Assist with off-shift maintenance activities as needed

Perform other duties as required

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds over your head

Climbing into and under equipment

Frequently climbing stairs, ladders, and using cross-overs


Education and Experience Profile

Associate's degree in Electrical Technology

At least 5-7 years relevant electrical technician experience in manufacturing or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience in consumer packaged goods and Lean Manufacturing


Required Skills

Strong communication skills.

Capable to interpret and apply NEC, NFPA, and OSHA codes.

Familiar with 3 phase electrical power applications.

Experience with RS500 & RS5000

Experience with basic shop equipment (drill press, band saw, chop saw, etc.)

Experience running EMT and rigid conduit.

Demonstrated ability with PLC trouble shooting, interface, and basic programming skills.

Ability to be a team player and effectively collaborate and partner with different functional groups and customers.

Must be detail oriented with strong organization skills.

Demonstrated project management skills required.

Experience with computer use specifically in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD.

Must be results oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and prints
