Job Profile Summary

To manage and lead technology delivery and operational support activities for U.S. Brokerage IT, supporting FXL/FEC brokerage operations through EDI and API integration capabilities, and ongoing modernization initiatives.

 Job Description

Essential Functions

  • Lead teams responsible for EDI and API integration delivery, customer onboarding, and operational support.
  • Provide management oversight for brokerage IT platforms operating within U.S. Customs Brokerage (USCBP) environments.
  • Partner with operations, compliance, and architecture teams to support integration modernization initiatives.
  • Ensure platform stability, scalability, and regulatory compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting FXL/FEC U.S. Brokerage IT environments operating within USCBP regulatory frameworks.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Experience leading technology teams in complex, high-volume brokerage or logistics operational environments.
  • Experience managing platforms integrating legacy and modern systems in support of brokerage operations.
  • Prior management experience within FedEx or comparable enterprise logistics organizations, with demonstrated alignment to People-Service-Profit (PSP) principles.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in computer science, math or directly related quantitative degree or related field.

Minimum Experience

Five (5) years systems development experience which includes programming. Skill in one or more programming languages. If position is in mainframe environment, complex systems experience on IBM operating systems or microprocessors required. Experience in the technical design and development of major data processing projects. IMS experience. If position is in client/server environment, systems development experience to include distributed systems is required. Experience in client/server technology, object oriented (OO) development or case tools. Experience in the technical design and development of major client/server projects.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of software and engineering principles. Strong basic management, human relations, and communication skills.

Domicile Information

This position will be domiciled in Tonawanda, New York. This is a hybrid role and requires working in the office at least 3 times a week.
