Under direct supervision of the provider, nursing leadership and/or a Registered Nurse (RN) performs a variety of nursing care functions within all aspects of Endoscopy. Will implement appropriate actions as assigned to provide support and comfort to the patients needs, observes the patient and communicates pertinent data to the RN . Performs technical patient care services under supervision of nursing leadership and a RN or the Charge RN. Shift Hours: Monday - Friday, 730-4. Address: Lakeside Medical Center, 14500 Hall Rd, Sterling Heights 48313 EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent. Graduation from an Accredited (CAAHEP/ABHES) Medical Assistant Program, Surgical Technician, Emergency Medical Tech training, preferred. Familiarity with endoscopy equipment or scope/instrument reprocessing, preferred. Minimal two years health care exposure in a similar clinic setting, preferred.
