3rd shift, Skid Coordinator
|

Position Objective:
|
Pulls finished product from production, sorts onto pallets per customer specifications, ensuring they are packaged and labeled correctly for shipping, which ensuring all paperwork is complete and accurate.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Pulls finished goods from production for shipment
- Verifies pallet size meets customer specifications in job instructions (partners with turret operator for info)
- Inputs pallet size data into proprietary system to prepare & print pallet number
- Scans individual box barcodes into proprietary system, then places box on designated pallet
- Re-print pallet number to cross-reference the box bar codes vs. the sheet to verify all items are there; signs off on sheet after verification
- Prints shipping label for shipping/receiving to prepare for shipment
- Attention to detail is CRITICAL
- Maintains housekeeping and cleanliness of work area

Qualifications and Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent knowledge and experience. Preferred Skills:
- Attention to detail is CRITICAL
- Strong written/verbal interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to read, write, and comprehend instructions.
- MUST have some basic computer skills; will train on site-specific software
- Strong initiative, problem-solving, and resourcefulness
Physical Demands:
- Works in a manufacturing environment and will be required to wear hearing, foot, and/or other personal protective equipment while performing duties in a manufacturing setting.
- May, on a continuous basis, stand for a long period of time and stoop, bend, and kneel frequently.
- May handle, feel and reach for items in and around work area and continuously grasp product from a conveyor for up to 8 hours.
- Moderate to frequent walking and lifting and/or moving up to 40 lbs. repetitively is required.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close & distance vision, ability to adjust focus, and ability to distinguish color variations, peripheral, and depth perception.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually medium to loud. Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed.
