Overview

As a Talent Acquisition Manager for MasTec Industrial, you will lead a tough, results-driven recruiting team that keeps heavy industrial jobsites stacked with the skilled pros who get the hard work done. You will own full-cycle recruiting and sourcing strategies that attract top talent and craft talent who know how to operate in high-stakes, high-horsepower industrial environments.
This role partners directly with senior leaders and HR to stay ahead of project demand, workforce swings, and rapid mobilization needs across complex builds. You will sharpen processes, build strong field relationships, and deliver a steady pipeline of qualified talent ready to hit the ground running. You will coach and elevate a TA team that thrives in a fast-moving, boots-on-the-ground construction culture. MasTec is doing big things in 2026, and we want you to be part of it!

This position will be one of three Talent Acquisition Managers supporting the MasTec Clean Energy & Infrastructure segment market sectors, specifically the MasTec Industrial subsidiaries.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the evolution of the talent acquisition team into a strategic, consultative partner to the business.
  • Partner with TA leadership and business leaders to drive recruiting initiatives that strengthen talent pipelines and support diversity hiring.
  • Stay current on industry trends and bring innovative talent acquisition practices to the organization.
  • Fully utilize the applicant tracking system for efficient recruiting, compliance, and reporting.
  • Lead sourcing strategies that expand the pool of qualified candidates and maintain strong pipelines for active and future needs.
  • Champion continuous improvement to increase efficiency and create a more effective, positive hiring experience.
  • Mentor and lead a high-performing team of recruiters in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Team Leadership and Operations

  • Oversee daily recruiter operations, workloads, accuracy, standards, and process adherence while providing guidance and audits.
  • Manage productivity and performance using data and metrics to identify coaching needs and opportunities.
  • Coach and train Talent Specialists to strengthen sourcing capabilities and proactive recruiting skills.
  • Build a team environment where members are empowered, engaged, and committed to delivering high-quality service.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, open feedback, and professional development.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand hiring needs and align on delivery expectations.

Stakeholder Partnership and Strategic Impact

  • Educate internal stakeholders on best practices such as job descriptions, candidate outreach, value propositions, interviewing, and onboarding to ensure a strong candidate experience.
  • Provide talent acquisition insights and market intelligence to help meet business objectives.
  • Deliver regular updates to TA leadership and business partners on progress toward hiring goals and key initiatives.
  • Conduct follow-ups with hiring managers to evaluate the effectiveness of recruiting strategies.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition Director on external staffing agency relationships, ensuring proper use of resources and budget awareness.
  • Support TA department strategies and special programs, including internships, early career, and diversity initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience required, with 3+ years within the industrial/construction or related project-based construction desired
  • Experience leading in a matrixed or complex organization with multiple brands is desired
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience required
  • A bachelor's Degree or a combination of experience and education is required
  • Advanced technical knowledge, with experience with iCIMS preferred
  • Experience recruiting talent in competitive markets

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Solid expertise in full-cycle recruiting and building pipelines for tough-to-fill roles.
  • Strong ability to juggle multiple priorities and keep projects moving.
  • Sharp understanding of current recruiting tools and trends, including social media and digital sourcing.
  • Comfortable reading metrics and dashboards to make smart, fast decisions.
  • Proven leadership in guiding teams through change.
  • close attention to detail with a get-it-done sense of urgency.
  • Strong sourcing, interviewing, and negotiation abilities.
  • Clear, confident communicator who can influence and present to leaders.
  • Trusted partner who builds strong relationships across the business.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, applicant tracking systems, and recruiting tools.
  • Working knowledge of EEO, ADA, and OFCCP requirements.
  • Self-driven, reliable, and able to work independently.
  • Willing to travel up to 15 percent as needed.
