Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with strong expertise in AWS, Terraform, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will operate at a strategic architectural level - not in a handson engineering role - and will guide crossfunctional teams in designing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions across extended multicloud environments. This role requires a combination of deep technical knowledge, strong communication abilities, and experience influencing architectural strategy. The position is based in Pennington, NJ (preferred), with additional locations in Plano, TX and Jersey City, NJ. Core Responsibilities * Serve as a Solution Architect supporting and advising cloud architecture teams. * Act as a strategic liaison between engineering groups, business stakeholders, and leadership. * Drive cloud design discussions, requirements analysis, and highlevel architecture decisions. * Develop design templates, reference architectures, and scalable frameworks. * Provide architectural oversight for solutions spanning extended/multicloud environments. * Support cloud strategy, modernization initiatives, and enterprise solution alignment. * Work with datacenter-adjacent systems, including data farm environments. Required Qualifications * Education: * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field -AND- 10+ years relevant experience * OR * Master's Degree -AND- 7+ years relevant experience. * Technical Expertise: * 3+ years hands-on experience with Terraform, CI/CD, and DevOps tools. * Deep experience with AWS (required). * Experience with Azure (preferred). * Familiarity with GCP (bonus). * Strong knowledge of Linux OS, configuration, parameters, and administration. * Experience with enterpriselevel cloud architecture, infrastructure, automation, and solution design. * Professional Skills: * Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to facilitate and drive technical discussions. * Strong triage, troubleshooting, and analytical skills. * Proficiency with documentation tools (Excel, Visio, SharePoint, Confluence). * Ability to operate above the architect level, guiding strategy and refining designs. * Certifications: * AWS and/or Azure Solution Architect certifications are highly preferred.
