Job Description:

The successful candidate will support the production and engineering development by developing Automated Test Systems for screening manufacturability of various Frequency and Timing products, such as Atomic Clocks, Oscillators, modules, and other related products. The primary focus is on system architecture, development of interface boards, and integration of software tooling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, deploy, test, and support automated test systems to screen products against manufacturing requirements.
  • Develop custom circuits for interface between product and automated test system.
  • Troubleshoot and upgrade existing automated test systems when needs arise.
  • Provide proper documentation / diagrams describing developed automated test systems.
  • Collaborate with Software Engineer during automated test system development.
  • Participate and contribute in cross-functional teams to support new product introduction.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Productions, and IT departments to define automated test system requirements and supporting infrastructure.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • US Person capable of working with EAR and ITAR controlled products.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • 5 - 6 years' experience in basic electronic circuit design, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of test equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, frequency counters, spectrum analyzers, phase noise analyzers, etc.
  • Ability to interpret programming languages such as C#, VB.NET, and Python.
  • Ability to understand and troubleshoot existing automated test systems including hardware and software aspects.
  • Self-driven to lead and complete projects withing established commitment times.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate interaction with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • 2.5 - 3 years' experience in basic electronic circuit design, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • 2+ years' experience in programming using C#, VB.NET, and Python.
  • Familiarity with US Military electrical standards.

The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $70,304-$205,000.*

*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
